Prof. Dr. Md. Uzira Azam Khan has dedicated his professional career to the field of Medical Physiology and high-caliber medical education. Graduating with an MBBS in 1990 from the prestigious Shere Bangla Medical College, Barisal, he pursued specialized post-graduation, earning his M.Phil in Physiology in 1997 from IPGM&R, Dhaka University.

Over the last 30 years, he has combined educational innovation, academic research, and government administrative roles. As the Principal of Abdul Malek Ukil Medical College, Noakhali, he currently shapes institutional development, manages academic faculties, and mentors the next generation of doctors in Bangladesh.
